This CasaCocoLoco original pattern for handmade crochet stockingettes will give you 135 minutes of entertainment! It's not that difficult and the result is so sexy and stylish. I'm using a cottong elastine for this pair but you could try adding knitter's elastine to any ordinary yarn that has a bit of stretch to it (I probably wouldn't recommend bamboo).

The size is for Australian foot size 9, so a smaller foot will be fine. A larger foot should add only reduce by 1 loop at R3.

Fishnet stockingettes – no foot reinforcement
Size –  foot size 9AUS

Yarn – Elann.com Esprit
Cotton Elastine
2 balls, +/- 92m

Foundation Row – cast on 6 chains, sl stitch together

Toe
R1 – 1 dc into each ch (5) sl stitch, 1 ch
R2 – 2 dc into each dc (10) sl stitch, 1 ch
R3 – 2 dc into each dc (20) sl stitch, 1 ch
R4 – 1 dc into first two 2st, 2 dc into third st. repeat to end, (28) sl stitch, 1 ch
R5 – repeat R4 (36)
R5 – 1 dc into first 8 st, 2 dc into 9th st, repeat to end (40) sl stitch, 1 ch

Foot
R1 – ch5, sk 3 st, 1 sc into next. Repeat to end. (10 loops)
R2 – *ch 5, 2 sc into next 5chsp* Repeat to end (10 Loops)
R3 – reduce x 2 loops, one on each end by *ch 2, sl st into next ch sp, ch 2, sl st into next ch sp* at first stitch, then ch 5, sk 3 st, 1 sc into next ch sp till 2 from end then repeat *-* (8 loops)
R4 – repeat as per R2 but where work has been reduced, ch 6, sc 2 into 2nd reduced loop) (8 loops)
R5 – R6 – Repeat R3-R4 (6 loops)
R7- R12 – Repeat R2 *-* (6 loops) sl stitch at end
R13 – 1 sc into 5 ch sp, 1 sc into first sc, 1 sc into 5 ch sp, repeat to end (18 sc)
R14 – R20 – 1 sc into each sc. (18 sc) cast off
